Perfumes, like poisons, are derived from ground herbs. They distort the appearance of the battle to opposing players, and thus can be very effective against new players but not so useful against experienced players, and absolutely useless against NPC-led parties. This effect is aural, ie. it affects all those nearby, including the party using the perfumes. However, it takes five hours to be inured to perfume, and so a party that plans to use perfumes in battle should be using them outside of battle as well to reduce the perceived effect to the player. In addition, the distortion weakens as the distance from the perfume increases.
The following is a list of perfumes:
Distracts players who are micromanaging a character within the range of the perfume, with brilliant dancing lights, that muddle their vision. Has no effect against NPC parties.
