After leaving La Rainbow, State Route 157 continues north into the rural plains of northern Marico County, and then enters Lexynton County and the town of Clear Lake, where it serves as the main road. After Leaving Clear Lake, State Route 157 continues north, crossing over the Andrews River, and entering woodlands of Lexynton and Millannilleon. State Route 157 then enters the city of Pernall Center. After leaving the city, the route intersects Dragoonasag Interstate Route 92, and turns northeast, traversing rural Millannilleon County until its north end at National Route 731 in Middle.

Future plans[]

In July 2009, the Lohana Department of Transportation stated plans to extend State Route 157 southward toward National Route 124 in New Ogden, so that State Route 157 would become a cut-off road for motorists traveling from Middle to Marico.
