The Digtal Televisions Act 2007 was an act passed by the Parilament of the United Kingdom on 8 May 2007, that guidelined digtal television rules in the United Kingdom.

The Act promoted that on 1 January 2012 that the United Kingdom would switch completely to digtal. The Act stated that in 2012 cable local tv was illegal and would be cut out. The Act also promoted government support for MBC, sending it 55.5 million pound sterling, it guidelined local television communication pratices, and stated how cable tv could be transformed into digtal tv. The Act repealed the Cable-Digtal Telvision Guidelines Act 1960, the earliest television guidelining act.
